Watts and Hughes are currently engaged by Woolworths NZ to undertake extension and alteration works to their Countdown Rangiora store to better meet the needs of the community. As the store will remain trading throughout the construction phase works have been split into day and night works to minimise disruption to the business. During the day, extension works involve the addition of a new 165m2 dedicated online store to the north west corner, including cool room and freezer facilities, and a new covered pick-up canopy area. Inside the existing store, night works involve internal alteration works, including construction of a new entrance lobby, perimeter alterations, service relocation, checkout replacement, refrigeration upgrades, floor coverings and decorations.
