The work of this contract consisted of extensions to the existing hall, staff room and library as well as new teaching Block C which included 7 classrooms and associated facilities. The new Administration block included reception, offices and first aid area. Siteworks comprised exposed concrete walkways, ramps, seating and landscaping. The buildings were concrete slab on grade with structural steel frame and metal roof. Decorative precast panels were used along the main elevation with timber weatherboard used elsewhere. Powder coated aluminium joinery was used throughout. The main entrance features an aluminium and glass atrium. Interior areas were constructed using acoustic ceiling tiles and acoustic wall partitions. Building services included mechanical, electrical and fire as well as extensive data, comms and VGA installations for student activities. Data has been upgraded to future proof for high speed internet use.
