Watts & Hughes were engaged to complete the seismic structural strengthening to the Left Bank Art Gallery.
The works involved foundation beams, timber framing with heli-ties into brick walls, repositioning and recladding of internal walls, fire improvements, accessibility improvements, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
The building is also classified as a Heritage building, so there was extensive involvement from the consultant team, client and the West Coast Arts Society.
