This project was an addition of 2 floors of an existing car park building. The building was used extensively on the lower floors during construction. To enable the car park users to operate during construction Watts & Hughes had specific safety plans to protect public at all time. Being a hospital this was implemented for public use 245 hours a day and 7 days a week. The project was completed on time and without incident. The building was constructed of precast components to enable the works to be completed as quickly as possible. This also included the external ramps which were also constructed over the existing building
