This was a staged project with Stage 1 involving classroom relocation and construction of a new classroom block. Stages 2 and 3 involved part demolition, extension and refurbishment of the existing music and arts block, construction of a feature pitched roof recording studio and canopy and the demolition of the existing bus bay, bike store and fencing to construct a new brick (with inserts) fence.
Effective communication between site based staff, engineers and the architects was key to the success of this project.
