The construction of the Sonrise Christian School Administration Building and Library including the infrastructural work had to be completed prior to school commencing in February 2009.
During 2010 new classrooms including a technology block, a science block and a toilet block as well as a daycare centre were added.
The Preschool Daycare Centre consisted of a standalone building housing a preschool, parent education facility, new sealed carpark, ancillary facilities and play areas designed for a child capacity of 50 children.
