Starbucks Cathedral Square Fitout
The project involved constructing timber-framed walls, 140mm full height with deflection heads, to separate the back-of-house areas from the front-of-house. The walls reached a height of 6 meters. New services, including power, water, and plumbing for toilets, were installed and connected to existing systems. All walls were finished with gib and paint on the front-of-house side.
A newly constructed bulkhead featured a bespoke architectural screen detail on its face. The service area’s back wall in the front-of-house was tiled, while back-of-house walls were finished with Marlite to maintain a clean environment. Both front and back-of-house areas had exposed concrete base-build ceilings and floors, with concrete polished floors in the front and vinyl flooring in the back-of-house.
Mechanical services were upgraded throughout the store, including the installation of new toilets and a front bar. The back-of-house fit-out and front-of-house fit-out incorporated client-supplied items.
