This project consisted of a completely new fit out of an existing retail outlet (196sqm) which had been stripped to base build parameters prior to Watts & Hughes winning the contract.

There was an amount of demolition carried out in order for services to serve the new layout proposed. This involved stripping out of suspended ceilings, mechanical ductwork, lighting & power cabling and more significantly cutting of trenches through existing concrete slab for new drain runs.

The fit out consisted of a new kitchen, restaurant dining area, toilets and take away serving area.

There were a variety of different cladding and finishes, namely painted gib, false ceiling, oak panels, painted render with ash timber battens, custom graphics and a polished concrete floor.

For the BOH, marlite, stainless steel, vinyl and floor tiling made up the materials used in this area.

A new shop front comprising of automatic sliding entry doors, new aluminium glazed units and a single door with serving hatch made up for the front of shop elements of the project.

A completely new mechanical system was installed which was served by new units on the roof of the building. Likewise, new plumbing and electrical services were taken from existing base build supplies with a new distribution board and fee from nearby mall transformer.
