The Stage 4 of Te Waka Unua School Site Redevelopment works include the following:

Demolition and Earthworks – Removal of the existing gabion seats, excavation and backfilling works for new asphalt and concrete paving, supply and construction of mounding, artificial turf, lawns and gardens.

Paving – Supply, forming and casting of new asphalt (~1,100 m2), poutama and exposed aggregate concrete paving (~600 m2).

Carpentry – Supply and installation of the timber boardwalks, decking, ramp, seats, raised vegetable planters and step posts.

Landscaping – Supply and installation of the multi basketball tree, table tennis table, music instruments, soft fall matting, artificial turf, scooter signs and cultural pillars.

Fencing – Supply and installation of approx. 60 linear meter fencing including all hardware, fixings, hinges, latches, locks and concrete footings.

Painting – Preparation and painting of the scooter court markings, decking and staining of timber items.

Planting – Garden and lawn preparation, planting and sowing (~450 m2).
