Watts & Hughes were selected as the main contractor to complete enabling works at Addington Primary School. These works were to be completed over the Christmas break, and into early 2017 as main redevelopment works were scheduled for later in the year.

The bulk of the works included:

Demolition of two existing blocks in preparation for new builds.

Disconnection and reconfiguration of existing services and temporary connections.

Repair and refurbishment of the administration block including a small extension, new Aluminium joinery, partial roof replacement and partial cladding replacement.

Modification of an existing classroom block in order to create a temporary conductive education centre for children with special needs.

Modification of the Landscaping and fencing to create a new drop off area for the temporary conductive education block
