| Watts & Hughes were selected as the main contractor to carry out the construction of 63 new apartments, associated facilities, and a partial basement carpark to the existing Awatere Retirement Village on Victoria Street in Hamilton. This is split across 2 separate buildings, Pavilion A & Pavilion D.
Pavilion A – Construction of 2,940m2 of floor area, comprising of 27 new independent living units over 3 levels and common space facilities. – Construction of 993m2 of new basement car parking. – Connected into the existing facility that it adjoins. Pavilion D – Construction of 9,398m2 of floor area, comprising of 36 new independent living units over 4 levels, including common facilities. |
