This project comprised the construction of a new 1,000 m2 public library in New Lynn which consisted of structural steel frame, load bearing block walls, precast mezzanine and long run metal roof.
A special feature of the library was the embossed decorative insitu concrete wall panels.
The entire project is surrounded by public walkways which had to been kept in operation during the course of the works. The works also included major upgrading of the existing park and war memorial area which necessitated specific safety and security methods and procedures.
